This vintage bracelet is a joyful celebration of centuries-old Venetian glass artistry, reimagined through a Bohemian lens. Each bead is a miniature marvel, made using time-honoured techniques that trace back to the island of Murano, Venice—a place world-renowned for its intricate glasswork since the 13th century. The colourful floral patterns inside the glass are achieved through the millefiori method, in which thin glass rods are bundled, sliced, and melted to create detailed mosaic motifs within a single bead.

The playful elegance of these beads is thoughtfully offset by the use of cotton cord—a surprising contrast to the opulence often associated with Murano glass. This choice brings a gentle, down-to-earth charm to the bracelet, softening the richness of the materials and giving the piece a relaxed, wearable quality. The muted sheen of the cotton adds a textural counterpoint to the subtle iridescence and joyful colour palettes found in each bead: soft blues, cherry reds, pastel pinks, butter yellows, and leafy greens, like a garden blooming at your wrist.
