スターリングシルバーと乳白色のシェルが美しく調和する、1970〜80年代のヴィンテージバングル。淡くマットなシェルの質感と、経年で味わい深くなったシルバーとのコントラストが印象的で、静けさのなかに奥行きのある存在感を放ちます。

広がるようなラインを描く繊細なフォルムで、手首にやさしく寄り添う開口タイプ。シルバーの自然な経年変化を活かすため、磨きすぎず、ヴィンテージらしい穏やかな輝きを残しています。

個性的ながらも汎用性が高く、シンプルなモノトーンの装いにも、シャツやパンツのリラックスコーデにも好相性。単体で楽しむのはもちろん、シルバーのピアスやリング、アンクレットとのコーディネートにもぴったりで、日常をさりげなく引き立ててくれる一本です。

このバングルは、森やファームが広がる田舎道沿いで毎週開催されるカーブーツマーケットで、Sさんから買い付けました。都市部のヴィンテージマーケットとは違い、ほとんどの出店者が個人で、自宅から持ってきた品を車のトランク（カーブーツ）で開き、テーブルを並べて販売しています。

Sさんは、やわらかい雰囲気の素敵なおばさま。スカーフにゆったりしたワンピース姿で、まるでフェアリーゴッドマザーのよう。若い頃にシルバージュエリーを集めていたそうで、「おばあちゃんになってつけなくなったからね〜」と笑いながら、毎週少しずつ、ご自宅のコレクションを持ってきてくれています。

当時のヒッピー文化の影響を受けたものから、ミニマルで上品なものまで、さまざまなスタイルが混在する中からの一点。優しい白のシェルと繊細なシルバーが、静かに個性を添えるヴィンテージジュエリーです。

A unique vintage bangle combining cool-toned sterling silver with three milky shell inlays, arranged vertically along a gentle arc. The contrast between the matte, opalescent shell and the softly aged silver brings a quiet depth and serenity to the piece.

Crafted in the 1970s–80s, this bangle features a beautifully linear, fanned-out silhouette that opens comfortably around the wrist. We’ve left the surface gently unpolished, preserving the vintage silver’s natural patina and subdued luster.

Despite its distinct presence, the design remains versatile — ideal for pairing with a monochrome outfit, a relaxed shirt and trousers combo, or even layered with other silver rings, earrings, or an anklet for a cohesive look. Whether worn on its own or with other accessories, it elevates daily wear with an understated elegance.

This piece was sourced from Miss S, a regular at a car boot market held along a rural stretch lined with forests and farmland. Unlike professional dealers in urban vintage markets, the sellers here are mostly locals offering up their personal treasures straight from home — displayed on makeshift tables behind their cars.

Miss S, a kind and relaxed figure in a scarf and flowing dress, once collected silver jewellery during her younger years. “I’ve become a grandmother now, so I don’t wear them anymore. I thought I’d try selling them here,” she told me with a chuckle. Every week she brings a handful of pieces from her past — collected mostly in the 70s and 80s — ranging from hippie-inspired designs to refined minimalist styles. This bangle, with its graceful form and soft-toned shell, is one of those special finds — quietly expressive, and unmistakably vintage.

昨年からはオーストラリア北部の街で過ごす時間が長くなり、これまであまり馴染みのなかったこの地域のマーケットを巡るようになりました。まるで探検のようでもあり、フィールドワークのようでもあり・・。次々と新しい出会いに恵まれ、驚くほどの速さで発見が積み重なっていった日々でした。

早朝の澄んだ空気のなかで開かれるもの、森に囲まれた小さなもの、にぎわいの中にぽつんと現れる静かなヴィンテージの屋台——何度も足を運ぶうちに、どの場所にどんな出会いがあるのか、少しずつ肌で感じられるようになってきました。

そんな日々のなかで見つけたものたちを、ようやくみなさまにご紹介できる機会が整いました。

ここ１ヶ月は、いつものようにマーケットを巡りながら、その様子をこのInstagramのストーリーズやライブ配信、投稿、リール動画を通して、少しずつお届けしてきました。見つけたアイテムだけでなく、その背景や空気感、どんなふうに惹かれて手に取ったのかまで、なるべく丁寧にお伝えしようとつとめてまいりました。

仕入れた品はひとつひとつ手で磨き、整えながら、その過程や、スタイリングの提案、そして個人的に特に心に残ったお気に入りのご紹介などもさせていただきました。そして、この1か月の記録の集大成として6月に見つけたアイテムが、ささやかな物語とともに並びます。どのようにして、ひとつのジュエリーが"誰かの宝物"になっていくのか——その過程そのものを、みなさまと分かち合えたら嬉しいです。

Since last year, I’ve been spending more time a northern part of Australia—an area I hadn’t been very familiar with before. I began visiting local markets there, and the experience has felt part exploration, part fieldwork. One discovery led to another, and before I knew it, the days became a whirlwind of encounters and inspiration.

Some markets open in the crisp stillness of early morning, others are tucked away in forested corners, while quiet vintage stalls appear almost like a mirage amidst the bustle. With each visit, I started to get a sense—almost instinctively—of what kinds of treasures might be found in each place.

And now, I finally have the chance to share some of those finds with you.

Over the past month, I’ve continued my usual market visits while slowly documenting the journey through Instagram Stories, livestreams, posts, and reels. I’ve tried to share not just the items themselves, but the atmosphere behind them—the feeling of the moment I was drawn to each piece, and the story it carried.

Each item I sourced has been polished by hand and thoughtfully prepared. Along the way, I’ve also shared styling ideas and personal favourites that left a particular impression on me. And now, as a culmination of these weeks of exploration, the pieces I found in June are ready—presented here with their quiet stories. I hope to share not just the jewellery, but the very process of how a piece becomes someone’s treasure.
