スペイン・トレド地方に受け継がれる伝統装飾技法、ダマスクス（Damascene）。
金や銀の細い線を黒地の金属に象嵌（ぞうがん）し、緻密な花や鳥の文様を浮かび上がらせるこの技法は、古代より「金属の絵画」と呼ばれてきました。もともとは中東の刀剣装飾に由来し、イスラム文化とヨーロッパ美術が交わる中で発展したものです。
手仕事による微細な彫金と象嵌の輝きは、時を経ても色褪せることなく、静かな高貴さを湛えています。

こちらのヴィンテージウォッチは、まさにその伝統を受け継ぐ美しい一本。
