白地に深いコバルトブルー。
風景を描いた静かな構図は、どこか控えめで、良い意味で“無表情”に近い佇まいを持っています。だからこそ、装いにすっと溶け込みながら、さりげなく気品を添えてくれる存在です。

Delftは、オランダで生まれた陶器装飾の技法。白釉の上にコバルト顔料で絵付けを施し、焼成によって青の濃淡を定着させます。にじみや筆の揺らぎもそのまま景色となり、ひとつひとつに微妙な個性が宿ります。

このブローチもハンドペイントならではのやわらかな線が印象的。決して主張しすぎないのに、近づくと筆致のあたたかさが伝わってきます。作り手の手の動きがそのまま残されているような、やさしい空気をまとった一点です。

A return of Delft pieces — the first in several years.

Set against a soft white ground, the deep cobalt blue forms a quiet landscape. The composition feels almost expressionless in the best sense — understated, calm, and composed. Because of this restraint, it blends effortlessly into any outfit while adding a subtle sense of refinement.

Delftware originated in the Netherlands, characterised by cobalt painting over a white glazed surface. The piece is fired to fix the varying shades of blue, preserving the natural softness of the brushstrokes. Slight variations and gentle bleeding in the pigment become part of its character, making each example quietly unique.

This brooch carries the warmth of hand-painting. The lines are delicate and unforced, revealing the touch of the maker rather than mechanical precision. Up close, the brushwork feels intimate and thoughtful.
