2つの異なる乳白色のストーンの輝きが優しく溶け合う、1970〜80年代のヴィンテージペンダントトップ。ぽってりとした涙型のストーンと、まあるいストーンが縦に並ぶシルエットは、凛としたたたずまいと柔らかさを同時に感じさせます。

スターリングシルバーの土台は、あえて磨きすぎず、ヴィンテージらしい落ち着いたトーンをそのまま残しています。静かに時を重ねたような深みのある質感が、石の持つ自然なつややかさをより引き立てます。

チェーンを通してペンダントとして使うのはもちろん、ピンと合わせてブローチ風にアレンジするのもおすすめ。白シャツや黒のワンピースに合わせて日常使いするのはもちろん、シルバーのピアスやリング、アンクレットとの重ねづけで、季節や気分に合わせてさまざまなスタイルを楽しめます。

このペンダントは、森やファームが続く田舎道沿いで毎週開催されるカーブーツマーケットで、Sさんから買い付けました。ここでは、プロのセラーではなく、ほとんどが自宅から私物を持ってくる個人出店。車の後部を開けて、簡易テーブルの上に大切なものたちが並びます。

Sさんは、スカーフとワンピース姿の素敵なおばさま。フェアリーゴッドマザーのようなあたたかい雰囲気で、若い頃に集めていたシルバージュエリーを「もうおばあちゃんだからつけなくなっちゃってね〜」と、毎週少しずつ出してくれています。

ヒッピーカルチャーの影響を受けたものから、エスニック、ミニマリストなスタイルまで、その時代ならではの多彩なデザインが揃う中での一点。静かな存在感を放ち、日々の装いにやさしい輝きを添えてくれます。

This vintage pendant features a soft interplay of milky translucency and gentle luster — two types of stone, set in unpolished sterling silver. The silver's quiet aging, paired with the stones' organic gleam, brings a calm, natural elegance to the piece.

Dating from the 1970s–80s, its slender vertical silhouette complements both structured and flowing garments. The metal has been left with its original patina, adding depth and warmth to the cool-toned materials.

This versatile piece can be worn as a pendant by threading a fine chain through the bail, or even styled as a brooch when pinned creatively. Whether paired with a simple white blouse, a black dress, or layered with other silver jewellery — rings, earrings, or anklets — it moves easily between casual, professional, and formal settings.

It was sourced from Miss S, a warm-spirited woman who sells her personal collection each weekend at a car boot market tucked along a quiet country road fringed with forest and farmland. Unlike commercial vendors, sellers here bring items from their homes, displayed out of the backs of their cars in relaxed, community-driven stalls.

Miss S, wearing a flowing dress and a scarf, has the gentle presence of a fairy godmother. She once collected silver jewellery in her younger days but now brings a few pieces each week, saying with a laugh, “I’m a grandma now — I don’t wear them anymore, so I thought I’d give the market a try.”

The result is a wonderfully eclectic selection of jewellery from the 70s and 80s, spanning hippie influences to minimalist and ethnic styles. This piece is one such treasure — quiet, serene, and full of history.

昨年からはオーストラリア北部の街で過ごす時間が長くなり、これまであまり馴染みのなかったこの地域のマーケットを巡るようになりました。まるで探検のようでもあり、フィールドワークのようでもあり・・。次々と新しい出会いに恵まれ、驚くほどの速さで発見が積み重なっていった日々でした。

早朝の澄んだ空気のなかで開かれるもの、森に囲まれた小さなもの、にぎわいの中にぽつんと現れる静かなヴィンテージの屋台——何度も足を運ぶうちに、どの場所にどんな出会いがあるのか、少しずつ肌で感じられるようになってきました。

そんな日々のなかで見つけたものたちを、ようやくみなさまにご紹介できる機会が整いました。

ここ１ヶ月は、いつものようにマーケットを巡りながら、その様子をこのInstagramのストーリーズやライブ配信、投稿、リール動画を通して、少しずつお届けしてきました。見つけたアイテムだけでなく、その背景や空気感、どんなふうに惹かれて手に取ったのかまで、なるべく丁寧にお伝えしようとつとめてまいりました。

仕入れた品はひとつひとつ手で磨き、整えながら、その過程や、スタイリングの提案、そして個人的に特に心に残ったお気に入りのご紹介などもさせていただきました。そして、この1か月の記録の集大成として6月に見つけたアイテムが、ささやかな物語とともに並びます。どのようにして、ひとつのジュエリーが"誰かの宝物"になっていくのか——その過程そのものを、みなさまと分かち合えたら嬉しいです。

Since last year, I’ve been spending more time a northern part of Australia—an area I hadn’t been very familiar with before. I began visiting local markets there, and the experience has felt part exploration, part fieldwork. One discovery led to another, and before I knew it, the days became a whirlwind of encounters and inspiration.

Some markets open in the crisp stillness of early morning, others are tucked away in forested corners, while quiet vintage stalls appear almost like a mirage amidst the bustle. With each visit, I started to get a sense—almost instinctively—of what kinds of treasures might be found in each place.

And now, I finally have the chance to share some of those finds with you.

Over the past month, I’ve continued my usual market visits while slowly documenting the journey through Instagram Stories, livestreams, posts, and reels. I’ve tried to share not just the items themselves, but the atmosphere behind them—the feeling of the moment I was drawn to each piece, and the story it carried.

Each item I sourced has been polished by hand and thoughtfully prepared. Along the way, I’ve also shared styling ideas and personal favourites that left a particular impression on me. And now, as a culmination of these weeks of exploration, the pieces I found in June are ready—presented here with their quiet stories. I hope to share not just the jewellery, but the very process of how a piece becomes someone’s treasure.
