時を経て深みを増したスターリングシルバーに、そっと刻まれた葉のかたち。一本一本に繊細な葉脈が浮かび、緩やかなカーブのあるフォルムが、風にそよぐ葉を思わせます。ヴィンテージならではのシルバーの風合いを活かすため、あえて磨きすぎず、静かな表情を残しています。

動くたびにゆらゆらと揺れる姿は、控えめながら印象的。ナチュラルモチーフでありながら、デザイン自体はすっきりと洗練されており、甘さを抑えたモード感が日常の装いにも寄り添います。

このピアスを見つけたのは、森とファームが続く田舎道沿いで開かれる、ローカルのカーブーツマーケット。専門店が立ち並ぶマーケットとは違い、個人の方々が車のトランクを開け、私物を持ち寄って開くフリーマーケットです。

この日は、前から親しくしているSさんのもとへ。70〜80年代にシルバージュエリーを集めていたというSさんは、「もうおばあちゃんになってつけなくなったからね〜」とにこやかに話す、ふっくらした雰囲気の素敵な女性。ロングワンピースにスカーフを合わせた姿は、まるでシンデレラのフェアリーゴッドマザーのようでした。

彼女のコレクションは、ヒッピーカルチャーが香るものから、ミニマルで洗練されたものまで多彩。このピアスも、そんな彼女のパーソナルコレクションから、週末のマーケットで少しずつ放出されている宝物のひとつです。

Crafted in sterling silver with an aged patina that speaks softly of time, these vintage post earrings feature an exquisitely detailed leaf motif. Each leaf has been hand-formed, with fine veins and gently rippled edges that reflect the maker’s careful touch. The silver has been intentionally left unpolished to retain its vintage richness—a tone that tells its own story.

They sway lightly with your movements, catching the light with subtle grace. The design, though nature-inspired, feels contemporary in its slender silhouette—neither overly ornate nor plain, but a perfect balance of quiet expression. The result is a piece that feels both grounded and poetic.

Acquired from a countryside car boot market, held weekly along a tree-lined rural road bordered by farms and forest. Unlike specialist markets, these are casual gatherings where locals open up the trunks of their cars and lay out tables with personal items they’ve decided to part with. These earrings came from “S-san,” a warm, full-hearted woman in a flowing dress and scarf—almost like a fairy godmother. She had spent years collecting silver jewellery, particularly in the 1970s and 80s, but now in her older age, was letting go of the pieces she no longer wore. Each weekend she brings out a few more treasures from her home collection—and I always look forward to what might surface.

This pair reflects the spirit of that era—part bohemian, part minimalist—and would pair beautifully with both natural-fiber clothing and structured tailoring. Lightweight and versatile, they can be worn every day, but carry the quiet soul of something more special.

昨年からはオーストラリア北部の街で過ごす時間が長くなり、これまであまり馴染みのなかったこの地域のマーケットを巡るようになりました。まるで探検のようでもあり、フィールドワークのようでもあり・・。次々と新しい出会いに恵まれ、驚くほどの速さで発見が積み重なっていった日々でした。

早朝の澄んだ空気のなかで開かれるもの、森に囲まれた小さなもの、にぎわいの中にぽつんと現れる静かなヴィンテージの屋台——何度も足を運ぶうちに、どの場所にどんな出会いがあるのか、少しずつ肌で感じられるようになってきました。

そんな日々のなかで見つけたものたちを、ようやくみなさまにご紹介できる機会が整いました。

ここ１ヶ月は、いつものようにマーケットを巡りながら、その様子をこのInstagramのストーリーズやライブ配信、投稿、リール動画を通して、少しずつお届けしてきました。見つけたアイテムだけでなく、その背景や空気感、どんなふうに惹かれて手に取ったのかまで、なるべく丁寧にお伝えしようとつとめてまいりました。

仕入れた品はひとつひとつ手で磨き、整えながら、その過程や、スタイリングの提案、そして個人的に特に心に残ったお気に入りのご紹介などもさせていただきました。そして、この1か月の記録の集大成として6月に見つけたアイテムが、ささやかな物語とともに並びます。どのようにして、ひとつのジュエリーが"誰かの宝物"になっていくのか——その過程そのものを、みなさまと分かち合えたら嬉しいです。

Since last year, I’ve been spending more time a northern part of Australia—an area I hadn’t been very familiar with before. I began visiting local markets there, and the experience has felt part exploration, part fieldwork. One discovery led to another, and before I knew it, the days became a whirlwind of encounters and inspiration.

Some markets open in the crisp stillness of early morning, others are tucked away in forested corners, while quiet vintage stalls appear almost like a mirage amidst the bustle. With each visit, I started to get a sense—almost instinctively—of what kinds of treasures might be found in each place.

And now, I finally have the chance to share some of those finds with you.

Over the past month, I’ve continued my usual market visits while slowly documenting the journey through Instagram Stories, livestreams, posts, and reels. I’ve tried to share not just the items themselves, but the atmosphere behind them—the feeling of the moment I was drawn to each piece, and the story it carried.

Each item I sourced has been polished by hand and thoughtfully prepared. Along the way, I’ve also shared styling ideas and personal favourites that left a particular impression on me. And now, as a culmination of these weeks of exploration, the pieces I found in June are ready—presented here with their quiet stories. I hope to share not just the jewellery, but the very process of how a piece becomes someone’s treasure.
