以前、買い付け直後にストーリーズでもちらっとお見せしました、セラミックカボションリング。

郊外にある、平日だけ開かれる大型ウェアハウスのマーケット。書籍や家具、衣類、食器が並ぶなか、この日はジュエリーはほとんど見当たらず……そんな中、ひっそりとショーケースのすみに置かれていたのが、このリングでした。

まるで忘れられたかのように静かに佇んでいたけれど、目を奪われるような繊細さと存在感。この出会いこそが、ヴィンテージの醍醐味だと感じさせてくれる、そんなひと品です。

ハンドペイントのセラミックカボションに咲くフローラルモチーフ。時を経たゴールドカラーのフレームやシャンクの細工も見事で、1960年代頃のアメリカ製と思われます。ブローチでは見かけることのあるこのタイプの装飾ですが、リングで見かけるのは非常に珍しく、コレクターズアイテムとしても価値ある一点。

華やかなボリューム感ながら、どこか気品を感じさせるのは、その丁寧な造形と手仕事ならではの優美さゆえ。大きめのサイズ感は当時、手袋の上からも着けられるように作られた名残で、現在はアジャスタブル仕様のため、お好みの指に合わせて楽しめます。

デニムに白シャツ、といったシンプルなコーディネートのアクセントとしてもおすすめ。日常のなかにさりげなく、物語を添えてくれるヴィンテージリングです。

A rare and romantic find from an indoor warehouse market on the city outskirts, where the selection is always unpredictable—sometimes overflowing with treasures, and sometimes completely bare. That day, jewellery was scarcely to be found. Amid rows of handbags and furniture, this ring was tucked into the far corner of a display case, almost forgotten. But to me, it gleamed unmistakably—an overlooked treasure waiting to be discovered.

The delicate ceramic cabochon features a hand-painted floral motif in vintage pinks, blues, and yellow, encased in an ornate gilded frame with swirling rococo-inspired detailing. The frame, crown, and shank are richly aged, showing warm golden tones that speak to its mid-century origins. Though it makes a bold statement in size—likely designed to be worn over gloves—the elegance lies in its delicate artistry, precise details, and handmade charm.

This ring is especially rare; similar designs are more commonly found as brooches. To discover a ring version in this condition is an extraordinary stroke of vintage luck. Wear it as a standalone piece, or pair it with soft-toned ensembles and modern silhouettes to create your own nostalgic yet contemporary look.

昨年からはオーストラリア北部の街で過ごす時間が長くなり、これまであまり馴染みのなかったこの地域のマーケットを巡るようになりました。まるで探検のようでもあり、フィールドワークのようでもあり・・。次々と新しい出会いに恵まれ、驚くほどの速さで発見が積み重なっていった日々でした。

早朝の澄んだ空気のなかで開かれるもの、森に囲まれた小さなもの、にぎわいの中にぽつんと現れる静かなヴィンテージの屋台——何度も足を運ぶうちに、どの場所にどんな出会いがあるのか、少しずつ肌で感じられるようになってきました。

そんな日々のなかで見つけたものたちを、ようやくみなさまにご紹介できる機会が整いました。

ここ１ヶ月は、いつものようにマーケットを巡りながら、その様子をこのInstagramのストーリーズやライブ配信、投稿、リール動画を通して、少しずつお届けしてきました。見つけたアイテムだけでなく、その背景や空気感、どんなふうに惹かれて手に取ったのかまで、なるべく丁寧にお伝えしようとつとめてまいりました。

仕入れた品はひとつひとつ手で磨き、整えながら、その過程や、スタイリングの提案、そして個人的に特に心に残ったお気に入りのご紹介などもさせていただきました。そして、この1か月の記録の集大成として6月に見つけたアイテムが、ささやかな物語とともに並びます。どのようにして、ひとつのジュエリーが"誰かの宝物"になっていくのか——その過程そのものを、みなさまと分かち合えたら嬉しいです。

Since last year, I’ve been spending more time a northern part of Australia—an area I hadn’t been very familiar with before. I began visiting local markets there, and the experience has felt part exploration, part fieldwork. One discovery led to another, and before I knew it, the days became a whirlwind of encounters and inspiration.

Some markets open in the crisp stillness of early morning, others are tucked away in forested corners, while quiet vintage stalls appear almost like a mirage amidst the bustle. With each visit, I started to get a sense—almost instinctively—of what kinds of treasures might be found in each place.

And now, I finally have the chance to share some of those finds with you.

Over the past month, I’ve continued my usual market visits while slowly documenting the journey through Instagram Stories, livestreams, posts, and reels. I’ve tried to share not just the items themselves, but the atmosphere behind them—the feeling of the moment I was drawn to each piece, and the story it carried.

Each item I sourced has been polished by hand and thoughtfully prepared. Along the way, I’ve also shared styling ideas and personal favourites that left a particular impression on me. And now, as a culmination of these weeks of exploration, the pieces I found in June are ready—presented here with their quiet stories. I hope to share not just the jewellery, but the very process of how a piece becomes someone’s treasure.
