細かなガラス片を一つひとつ並べて描かれた、マイクロモザイクのヴィンテージブローチ。
葉のようなかたちのフレームの中に、赤い花と白い小花、深みのあるグリーンが緻密に構成されています。

マイクロモザイクは、18〜19世紀のヨーロッパで発展した技法で、極小のガラス（テッセラ）を用い、絵画のような表現を生み出す装飾技術です。
本品でも、色の切り替えや花びらの立体感が非常に細やかに表現され、近くで見るほどに情報量の多さが伝わってきます。

ゴールドトーンの縁取りが全体を引き締め、絵柄の繊細さを静かに支えています。
サイズは控えめで、装いの中で主張しすぎることはありませんが、視線を近づけたときに、確かな理由を感じさせる存在です。

マイクロモザイクのヴィンテージピースは、欠けや剥離が生じやすく、良好なコンディションで残っているものは限られています。
本品はモザイク部分の欠損も見受けられず、全体として安定した状態を保っています。

Within its leaf-shaped frame, red blossoms, small white flowers, and deep green tones are intricately arranged.

Micro mosaic is a decorative technique developed in Europe during the 18th and 19th centuries, using extremely small glass tesserae to create images with painterly detail.
In this piece, subtle shifts in colour and the dimensionality of the petals reveal a level of craftsmanship best appreciated up close.

The gold-tone border gently frames the design, providing structure while allowing the delicacy of the mosaic to remain the focus.
Modest in size, it does not overpower an outfit, yet offers a quiet sense of intention to those who notice it.
