やわらかなセラミックの質感に、ブルーのフローラルモチーフが手描きで描かれたヴィンテージイヤリング。

丸みのあるフラットなフォルムに、淡いアイボリーの地色。その上に、空色に近いブルーの花と繊細な葉が丁寧にハンドペイントされています。筆跡にはわずかな揺らぎがあり、量産品にはない温度を感じさせます。

セラミックならではのなめらかな表面は、強い光沢ではなく、やわらかく光を受け止める質感。耳もとにのせたとき、主張するというより、静かに表情を明るく整えます。

フローラルモチーフは、一般的に「やさしさ」「誠実さ」「思いやり」といった花言葉を持つことが多く、日常にそっと寄り添う存在。具体的な品種の断定はできませんが、清楚で穏やかな印象を与えるデザインです。

セラミックのフローラルイヤリングは時折ご紹介していますが、このような丸くフラットなタイプは数年ぶり。オーストラリアのヴィンテージショップで買い付けの際、棚の奥に並んでいたこの一対を見つけたとき、思わず声が出るほど心が動きました。

意匠の完成度や手仕事の丁寧さもさることながら、何より感じられるのは“やさしさ”。
装いを華やかにするというより、空気をやわらかく整えるためのイヤリングです。
