まるで命を宿したかのような、うねりと動きのある抽象的なフォルム。静止した瞬間を切り取ったような美しさを持つ、印象的なヴィンテージリングです。

ゴールドカラーのメタルがやわらかく波打ち、指に沿うように広がるデザイン。その表面には、繊細なライン状にちりばめられたラインストーンがきらめきを添え、動きと光を引き立てるように瞬きます。

造形としてはアーティスティックで存在感がありますが、指にはめてみると意外にも快適。ほどよい厚みとしっかりとした作りがありながら、重たすぎず、頼もしさを感じさせてくれる装着感です。華やかさと使いやすさ、その両方を叶えてくれるデザインです。

推定製作年代は1970年代後半〜1980年代初頭。コスチュームジュエリーが、大胆で彫刻的なフォルムを楽しむ時代に生まれた、個性とアート性を兼ね備えたひと品です。

このリングと出会ったのは、郊外の緑豊かな住宅街にある、チャーチスタイルの建物を活用したコレクター向けのチャリティショップ。シルバージュエリー、ハンドバッグ、古書、陶器、靴、オブジェなどが並ぶショーケースの中で、スタッフもお客さまもほとんどが年配の女性たち。

なかでも親しくしている70代のスタッフの方は、ラインストーン入りのジュエリーが大のお気に入りで、いつも手入れの秘訣や、おすすめの保管方法などを教えてくれます。このリングも、同時代の手袋やバッグとともに、丁寧に並べられていました。

シンプルな白シャツやリネンのワンピースに合わせて、ひとさじのアートを加えるように。ゴールドトーンのアクセサリーと重ねても、ひとつで主役としても、スタイリングに自由な広がりを与えてくれるリングです。

Likely dating from the late 1970s to early 1980s, this piece reflects the era’s appetite for bold costume jewellery with expressive, architectural silhouettes. Its form is playful yet elegant — a quiet showstopper.

We found this ring in a treasure trove of a shop tucked away in a leafy suburban neighbourhood. Run by a local charity and housed in a church building, the shop features long aisles of sparkling glass cabinets filled with silver jewellery, vintage handbags, books, and curious collectibles. Most of the regulars — and the lovely staff — are women of a certain age who have spent decades curating their own collections. One of them, now in her 70s, always shares her cleaning secrets and her deep love for rhinestone jewellery.

This particular ring was resting in a vintage jewellery box alongside delicately beaded gloves and softly worn handbags from the same era. Its unique shape and shimmer caught our eye instantly — and felt too special not to share.

Style it solo with clean, neutral tones to let its sculptural flair shine, or pair it with other gold accents for a rich, expressive finish. It’s a ring that doesn’t just adorn — it speaks.

昨年からはオーストラリア北部の街で過ごす時間が長くなり、これまであまり馴染みのなかったこの地域のマーケットを巡るようになりました。まるで探検のようでもあり、フィールドワークのようでもあり・・。次々と新しい出会いに恵まれ、驚くほどの速さで発見が積み重なっていった日々でした。

早朝の澄んだ空気のなかで開かれるもの、森に囲まれた小さなもの、にぎわいの中にぽつんと現れる静かなヴィンテージの屋台——何度も足を運ぶうちに、どの場所にどんな出会いがあるのか、少しずつ肌で感じられるようになってきました。

そんな日々のなかで見つけたものたちを、ようやくみなさまにご紹介できる機会が整いました。

ここ１ヶ月は、いつものようにマーケットを巡りながら、その様子をこのInstagramのストーリーズやライブ配信、投稿、リール動画を通して、少しずつお届けしてきました。見つけたアイテムだけでなく、その背景や空気感、どんなふうに惹かれて手に取ったのかまで、なるべく丁寧にお伝えしようとつとめてまいりました。

仕入れた品はひとつひとつ手で磨き、整えながら、その過程や、スタイリングの提案、そして個人的に特に心に残ったお気に入りのご紹介などもさせていただきました。そして、この1か月の記録の集大成として6月に見つけたアイテムが、ささやかな物語とともに並びます。どのようにして、ひとつのジュエリーが"誰かの宝物"になっていくのか——その過程そのものを、みなさまと分かち合えたら嬉しいです。

Since last year, I’ve been spending more time a northern part of Australia—an area I hadn’t been very familiar with before. I began visiting local markets there, and the experience has felt part exploration, part fieldwork. One discovery led to another, and before I knew it, the days became a whirlwind of encounters and inspiration.

Some markets open in the crisp stillness of early morning, others are tucked away in forested corners, while quiet vintage stalls appear almost like a mirage amidst the bustle. With each visit, I started to get a sense—almost instinctively—of what kinds of treasures might be found in each place.

And now, I finally have the chance to share some of those finds with you.

Over the past month, I’ve continued my usual market visits while slowly documenting the journey through Instagram Stories, livestreams, posts, and reels. I’ve tried to share not just the items themselves, but the atmosphere behind them—the feeling of the moment I was drawn to each piece, and the story it carried.

Each item I sourced has been polished by hand and thoughtfully prepared. Along the way, I’ve also shared styling ideas and personal favourites that left a particular impression on me. And now, as a culmination of these weeks of exploration, the pieces I found in June are ready—presented here with their quiet stories. I hope to share not just the jewellery, but the very process of how a piece becomes someone’s treasure.
