なめらかなドーム型のトップが目を引く、どこか彫刻のような佇まいのヴィンテージリング。ふっくらと丸みを帯びたフォルムは、まるできのこの傘のような柔らかな幾何学。抽象的でミニマルなデザインながら、ひと目で惹きつけられる存在感があります。

高品質のスターリングシルバー製で、しっかりとした厚みと心地よい重みを感じられる着け心地。それでいて指に負担をかけない、絶妙なバランス感覚が魅力です。表面はあえて磨きすぎず、時間の経過を感じさせるヴィンテージらしいまろやかな輝きを残しました。1970〜80年代ごろのものと見られ、モダニズムと自然美が交差する時代らしいデザインです。

買い付けたのは、森と牧草地が広がる田舎道のそばで開催されるカーブーツマーケット。出店者の多くは一般の方で、自宅から持ってきた品々を車のトランク（ブーツ）を開けて並べている、素朴であたたかい雰囲気の場所です。

この日も訪ねたのは、以前からお世話になっているSさん。ゆったりしたワンピースにスカーフを巻いた、まるでシンデレラのフェアリーゴッドマザーのような雰囲気のあるおばさま。
「もうおばあちゃんになって、つけなくなったからね〜」と微笑みながら、かつてのコレクションを毎週少しずつ出品されています。

アートピースのような一点は、シンプルなシルバーバンドと合わせても、白いリネンシャツにさらりと添えても。静かに目を引く、日常に寄り添うアートジュエリーとして、永くご愛用いただけるアイテムです。

There’s something sculptural, almost surreal, about this vintage sterling silver ring. With its smooth, rounded dome perched atop a clean band, the form brings to mind the soft geometry of a mushroom cap — simple, abstract, yet quietly arresting.

Crafted from high-quality sterling silver, the ring feels solid and comforting on the finger. Though substantial in shape, it’s thoughtfully weighted — offering a satisfying presence without heaviness. The surface has been intentionally left with its original vintage patina: a soft, aged glow that tells its own story. This piece is believed to date from the 1970s–1980s, a time when modernist forms and organic silhouettes began to blur in jewellery design.

Sourced at a rustic car boot market nestled beside country highways and farmland, the ring comes from Miss S — a scarf-wrapped, fairy godmother-like figure I often visit. Once a passionate collector of silver jewellery, she smiled gently and told me, “I don’t really wear them anymore… thought I’d see if someone else might enjoy them now.”

昨年からはオーストラリア北部の街で過ごす時間が長くなり、これまであまり馴染みのなかったこの地域のマーケットを巡るようになりました。まるで探検のようでもあり、フィールドワークのようでもあり・・。次々と新しい出会いに恵まれ、驚くほどの速さで発見が積み重なっていった日々でした。

早朝の澄んだ空気のなかで開かれるもの、森に囲まれた小さなもの、にぎわいの中にぽつんと現れる静かなヴィンテージの屋台——何度も足を運ぶうちに、どの場所にどんな出会いがあるのか、少しずつ肌で感じられるようになってきました。

そんな日々のなかで見つけたものたちを、ようやくみなさまにご紹介できる機会が整いました。

ここ１ヶ月は、いつものようにマーケットを巡りながら、その様子をこのInstagramのストーリーズやライブ配信、投稿、リール動画を通して、少しずつお届けしてきました。見つけたアイテムだけでなく、その背景や空気感、どんなふうに惹かれて手に取ったのかまで、なるべく丁寧にお伝えしようとつとめてまいりました。

仕入れた品はひとつひとつ手で磨き、整えながら、その過程や、スタイリングの提案、そして個人的に特に心に残ったお気に入りのご紹介などもさせていただきました。そして、この1か月の記録の集大成として6月に見つけたアイテムが、ささやかな物語とともに並びます。どのようにして、ひとつのジュエリーが"誰かの宝物"になっていくのか——その過程そのものを、みなさまと分かち合えたら嬉しいです。

Since last year, I’ve been spending more time a northern part of Australia—an area I hadn’t been very familiar with before. I began visiting local markets there, and the experience has felt part exploration, part fieldwork. One discovery led to another, and before I knew it, the days became a whirlwind of encounters and inspiration.

Some markets open in the crisp stillness of early morning, others are tucked away in forested corners, while quiet vintage stalls appear almost like a mirage amidst the bustle. With each visit, I started to get a sense—almost instinctively—of what kinds of treasures might be found in each place.

And now, I finally have the chance to share some of those finds with you.

Over the past month, I’ve continued my usual market visits while slowly documenting the journey through Instagram Stories, livestreams, posts, and reels. I’ve tried to share not just the items themselves, but the atmosphere behind them—the feeling of the moment I was drawn to each piece, and the story it carried.

Each item I sourced has been polished by hand and thoughtfully prepared. Along the way, I’ve also shared styling ideas and personal favourites that left a particular impression on me. And now, as a culmination of these weeks of exploration, the pieces I found in June are ready—presented here with their quiet stories. I hope to share not just the jewellery, but the very process of how a piece becomes someone’s treasure.
