このイヤリングを選んだのは、
表現としての花のモチーフが、控えめで力強い佇まいを持っていたからです。

葉や花を思わせるモチーフは、
単にかたちを写しただけでなく、
ひとつひとつのラインに彫りの強さと陰影が感じられます。
ゴールドトーンの質感は華やかさを持ちながらも、
装いの中で浮かず、落ち着いた存在感を生み出しています。

裏側に刻まれた Vendome（ヴァンドーム） のサイン。
この名は、European Costume Jewelry の世界では歴史あるもので、
1940年代〜1970年代にアメリカの Coro 社の上位ラインとして展開され、
ヴァンドーム広場の名を冠して高品質なコスチュームジュエリーとして設計されました。

現代ではヴィンテージとして評価されることも多く、
質の高い素材と、手組みで構築された奥行きのある造形が特徴です。

耳もとにしっくりと収まるサイズ感ながら、
その彫りの密度と陰影が、視線を穏やかに留めます。

I was drawn to these earrings because their floral-inspired form carries a subtle strength.

The leaflike motifs are not merely decorative — their sculpted lines and gentle shadows give them depth and composure.

On the reverse, the signature Vendome appears.
Vendome is a name with heritage in the world of costume jewellery:
originating as the high-end line of the American company Coro from the 1940s through the 1970s, designed to evoke the sophistication of Paris’s Place Vendôme and crafted with high-quality materials and hand assembly.

Today, signed Vendome pieces are appreciated as collectible vintage, celebrated for their refined construction and lasting presence.

Though modest in scale, the earrings offer a quietly commanding presence at the ear.
