このネックレスを手に取ったとき、
まず伝わってきたのは、時間を重ねたものだけが持つ密度でした。

複数のゴールドチェーンに、ブラックのファセットビーズ。
異なる質感とリズムが重なり合いながらも、
不思議と全体は落ち着いていて、過剰にならない。
装飾が多いはずなのに、視線は散らからず、
首もとにひとつの“層”として静かに留まります。

惹かれた理由は、このネックレスが
「見せるため」ではなく、
蓄積された時間を身につけるような感覚を持っていたから。
きらめきよりも、重なり。
新しさよりも、関係性。
そうした価値観が、自然と伝わってくる一点でした。

ゴールド部分には、
小さな楕円プレートに刻まれたアルファベットや番号の刻印が見られます。

大量生産ではなく、
人の手と工程を前提とした時代の名残が、
こうした刻印として、ひっそり残っているのかもしれません。

What stayed with me first was the sense of density —
the kind that only comes from time.

Multiple gold chains intertwine with faceted black beads,
each element carrying its own rhythm and texture.
Despite the richness, the composition remains calm, never excessive.
The eye doesn’t scatter;
everything settles into a single, composed layer at the neckline.

What drew me in was the feeling that this piece isn’t about display,
but about accumulation —
of time, of hands, of decisions made long ago.
It favours depth over sparkle,
relationship over novelty.

On the gold elements, small oval tags bear engraved letters and numbers.
Their exact origin is unknown,
but they may have served as workshop identifiers —
lot numbers, design references, or the initials of a maker or production line.
Rather than decorative marks,
they feel like quiet traces of a time when jewellery was shaped
through human processes, not anonymity.

When worn, the necklace never overwhelms.
Instead, it anchors the entire look,
bringing a grounded presence whether paired with a black dress
or something as simple as a knit.
