このプレートは、
何かを飾るためというより、
日々の中で手放すものの“置き場”を整えるための一枚です。

鍵、リング、時計。
毎日必ず手にし、必ず一度は外すもの。
その一瞬を曖昧にせず、きちんと受け止める場所として使われます。

表面は、スペイン・トレドに伝わるダマスクス装飾。
鉄地に金を一本ずつ打ち込み、文様を定着させる非常に手間のかかる技法です。
量産では再現できない線の密度と、わずかな揺らぎ。
強く輝くのではなく、光の角度によって静かに浮かび上がります。

本来は武具や宗教装飾にも用いられてきた背景を持つこの技法が、
ここでは日常の所作の中に溶け込みます。
この工程と時間こそが、このプレートの価値の理由です。

背面には金具が備えられていますが、
壁に掛けることが主目的ではありません。
棚やデスク、玄関先に置き、
「ここに戻す」という感覚をつくるための存在です。

片づけるためではなく、
迷わず戻せる場所があること。
忙しさや情報量が増えた今、
その小さな確かさに価値を感じる人のための一枚です。

Gold is carefully inlaid into iron, line by line, by hand.
The density of the pattern cannot be replicated by mass production.
Rather than shining boldly, it reveals depth quietly through changing light.

Historically used for ceremonial and sacred objects,
the craft here integrates gently into daily rituals.
The time and labor behind this process define its value.

Although fitted with hardware on the back,
hanging is not its primary purpose.
Placed on a shelf, desk, or entryway surface,
it establishes a simple rule: this is where things return.
