小さな葉を一枚ずつ丁寧にかたどり、繊細に重ねることで生まれた、やわらかな奥行きとリズム。自然の枝葉のように美しくかたどられた、ヴィンテージブローチです。ひと目見ると植物モチーフのようですが、よく見るとそれぞれの“葉”の正体は、シェル（貝）素材。自然のかたちを活かしながら、ひとつひとつ絶妙な角度で配置されているのがわかります。

このブローチは、裏面に小さなループがついており、チェーンを通してペンダントとしてもお使いいただける２WAY仕様。ブローチとして襟元にそっと添えたり、ゴールドチェーンに通してネックレスとして着けたり、季節やスタイリングに合わせて自由に楽しんでいただけます。

製作時期は1970〜80年代初期とみられ、自然モチーフや手仕事の風合いを大切にしたコスチュームジュエリーが流行していた頃。ヴィンテージならではのやわらかなゴールドカラーと、オーガニックな質感がこの時代らしい美しさを映し出しています。

このブローチと出会ったのは、緑あふれる郊外の住宅街にあるチャリティショップ。広い道路に木々が並ぶ静かなエリアで、店内にはシルバージュエリーや食器、古書、バッグ、オブジェなどが並ぶショーケースがずらり。スタッフもお客さまも、ほとんどが素敵なおばあさま方で、ゆったりとした空気が流れています。

なかでも仲良くさせていただいているスタッフのひとりは、ヴィンテージジュエリーが大好きな方。70代で、何十年もかけてコスチュームジュエリーを集めてきたそうで、会うたびにお掃除の裏技なども教えてくれます。

このブローチは、そんな店内のヴィンテージジュエリーボックスの中に、70年代のハンドバッグや手袋、髪飾りと並んで静かに飾られていました。シェルをここまで自然に美しくアレンジしたブローチは、今ではなかなか見つからない希少な存在です。

レースのブラウスやウールのニットに添えて、そっと季節を感じる装いに。日常のなかで自然の美しさと物語をまとえる、そんなひと品です。

Delicately crafted and full of quiet charm, this vintage brooch captures the graceful silhouette of a botanical spray — each tiny leaf rendered with remarkable attention to form and texture. Rather than presenting a flat design, the foliage has been arranged in gentle layers, creating a lifelike sense of depth and natural rhythm. At first glance, the form appears to be gilded leaves, but closer inspection reveals that each “leaf” is in fact a shell fragment, thoughtfully positioned to mimic nature’s asymmetry and softness.

This piece is more than a brooch — it also features a small loop at the back, allowing it to be worn as a pendant. Paired with a fine gold chain, it transforms into a poetic statement necklace, inviting multiple styling possibilities across seasons.

We estimate this piece to date from the 1970s to early 1980s, when nature-inspired costume jewellery flourished and handmade finishes were prized. Its soft golden patina and organic texture recall the romantic trends of the era, when jewellery served as both ornament and quiet storyteller.

We discovered this brooch at a collectors’ charity shop nestled in a leafy suburban pocket — a place lined with wide roads, flowering trees, and filled with display cases brimming with silver, costume jewellery, antique ceramics, handbags, books, and curious objects. The atmosphere is warm and slow, mostly tended by grandmothers who have long cherished the stories that each object holds. One lovely elderly staff member we often chat with is a costume jewellery enthusiast herself — now in her 70s, she has spent decades curating her collection, and is always ready to share cleaning tips or display secrets.

This brooch was nestled in a vintage jewellery box, surrounded by 1970s-era handbags, gloves, and hair accessories — a moment frozen in time. We don’t often come across vintage pieces where shell has been arranged so artfully and organically. It felt like something too special to pass up.

Wear it pinned to a lace blouse for everyday softness, or string it on a fine chain over a cashmere sweater for understated elegance. A collector’s piece that quietly celebrates the beauty of nature and the hand that shaped it.

昨年からはオーストラリア北部の街で過ごす時間が長くなり、これまであまり馴染みのなかったこの地域のマーケットを巡るようになりました。まるで探検のようでもあり、フィールドワークのようでもあり・・。次々と新しい出会いに恵まれ、驚くほどの速さで発見が積み重なっていった日々でした。

早朝の澄んだ空気のなかで開かれるもの、森に囲まれた小さなもの、にぎわいの中にぽつんと現れる静かなヴィンテージの屋台——何度も足を運ぶうちに、どの場所にどんな出会いがあるのか、少しずつ肌で感じられるようになってきました。

そんな日々のなかで見つけたものたちを、ようやくみなさまにご紹介できる機会が整いました。

ここ１ヶ月は、いつものようにマーケットを巡りながら、その様子をこのInstagramのストーリーズやライブ配信、投稿、リール動画を通して、少しずつお届けしてきました。見つけたアイテムだけでなく、その背景や空気感、どんなふうに惹かれて手に取ったのかまで、なるべく丁寧にお伝えしようとつとめてまいりました。

仕入れた品はひとつひとつ手で磨き、整えながら、その過程や、スタイリングの提案、そして個人的に特に心に残ったお気に入りのご紹介などもさせていただきました。そして、この1か月の記録の集大成として6月に見つけたアイテムが、ささやかな物語とともに並びます。どのようにして、ひとつのジュエリーが"誰かの宝物"になっていくのか——その過程そのものを、みなさまと分かち合えたら嬉しいです。

Since last year, I’ve been spending more time a northern part of Australia—an area I hadn’t been very familiar with before. I began visiting local markets there, and the experience has felt part exploration, part fieldwork. One discovery led to another, and before I knew it, the days became a whirlwind of encounters and inspiration.

Some markets open in the crisp stillness of early morning, others are tucked away in forested corners, while quiet vintage stalls appear almost like a mirage amidst the bustle. With each visit, I started to get a sense—almost instinctively—of what kinds of treasures might be found in each place.

And now, I finally have the chance to share some of those finds with you.

Over the past month, I’ve continued my usual market visits while slowly documenting the journey through Instagram Stories, livestreams, posts, and reels. I’ve tried to share not just the items themselves, but the atmosphere behind them—the feeling of the moment I was drawn to each piece, and the story it carried.

Each item I sourced has been polished by hand and thoughtfully prepared. Along the way, I’ve also shared styling ideas and personal favourites that left a particular impression on me. And now, as a culmination of these weeks of exploration, the pieces I found in June are ready—presented here with their quiet stories. I hope to share not just the jewellery, but the very process of how a piece becomes someone’s treasure.
